Dopo l’onta subita a New York, il mago Gargamella ha intenzione più che mai di mettere le mani sulla magica e onnipotente essenza blu dei Puffi. Per riuscirci, crea dal nulla due creature simili ai Puffi ma scopre presto che il suo esperimento per essere perfetto ha bisogno di un incantesimo che solo Puffetta conosce. Non avendo altre alternative, decide di rapirla e portarla con sé fino a Parigi, dove può contare sull’aiuto di milioni di persone che lo acclamano come il più grande stregone del mondo. Toccherà ancora una volta a Grande Puffo organizzare le squadre di soccorso, sperando nell’aiuto degli umani Patrick e Grace.

Dai cieli sopra il mondo di Cars, arriva il nuovo film d’animazione Disney Planes, una commedia in 3D ricca d’avventura che vede protagonista Dusty, un piccolo aereo agricolo dal cuore grande e con un unico sogno: partecipare alle gare ad alta quota come aereo da competizione. Ma Dusty non è stato esattamente progettato per gareggiare e soffre di vertigini. Così si rivolge all’aviatore navale Skipper, che lo aiuta a prepararsi per sfidare Ripslinger, il campione in carica. Il coraggio di Dusty sarà messo a dura prova quando cercherà di raggiungere altezze a cui non aveva mai sognato di arrivare prima d’ora, dimostrando al mondo con grande prodezza di sapersi spingere oltre ogni record previsto.

Il film, il cui titolo deve il proprio nome a Through the Never (brano presente nell’album Metallica del 1991), alterna scene di un giovane ragazzo chiamato Trip che compie un’avventura surreale mentre sta svolgendo una missione importante ricevuta dal proprio superiore con altre in cui i Metallica si esibiscono in concerto

Film-concerto che ad una trama di fiction affianca le riprese del concerto tenuto dai Metallica a Vancouver nell’agosto 2012. Tra i brani presenti in scaletta, Creeping Death, Cyanide, la celeberrima Nothing Else Matters e Master of Puppets.

Metallica 3D è l’evento cinematografico musicale dell’anno. Il film combina una spettacolare performance live dei Metallica durante un concerto mai visto prima, creato in esclusiva per il film, e un racconto elettrizzante che porta in sala un’esperienza senza precedenti.La star emergente Dane DeHaan (Come Un Tuono, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 & 3) interpreta Trip, un giovane roadie che lavora per l’organizzazione del concerto. Inviato urgentemente per ritirare, su richiesta della band, una borsa dal contenuto segreto, si troverà ad affrontare un viaggio che si trasforma in un’avventura surreale. Sulle note delle canzoni più famose dei Metallica, le vicende di Trip si intrecciano con l’esaltante concerto live di fronte a uno stadio sold-out e un pubblico di fan in delirio.

Il film combina una spettacolare performance live dei Metallica durante un concerto mai visto prima, creato in esclusiva per il film, e un racconto elettrizzante che porta in sala un’esperienza senza precedenti.La star emergente Dane DeHaan (Come Un Tuono, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 & 3) interpreta Trip, un giovane roadie che lavora per l’organizzazione del concerto. Inviato urgentemente per ritirare, su richiesta della band, una borsa dal contenuto segreto, si troverà ad affrontare un viaggio che si trasforma in un’avventura surreale. Sulle note delle canzoni più famose dei Metallica, le vicende di Trip si intrecciano con l’esaltante concerto live di fronte a uno stadio sold-out e un pubblico di fan in delirio.
Per Metallica 3D sono stati appositamente realizzati uno scenografia ed un palco High-Tech mai costruito prima; il film è stato girato con l’ultima tecnologia “state-of-the-art 3-D” catturando le scene del concerto con oltre 24 telecamere contemporaneamente. Il film è scritto e diretto dal pluripremiato regista Nimród Antal.

Quando la californiana Susan Murphy viene improvvisamente colpita da una meteora, proprio nel giorno del suo matrimonio, la ragazza cresce fino a raggiungere un’altezza di 15 metri.
